Sally Susan Scheeler, 72, of Greenfield, died Friday, March 18, 2011 at Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe.

She was born Jan. 4, 1939 in Greenfield, the daughter of the late Dale and Martha (Hawkins) Johnson.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Greenfield First Baptist Church and was active in the Homemakers Club.

She is survived by four daughters,  Marty (James Lucas) Richter of Greenfield, Teresa (Hank) Hurless of Leesburg, Candy (James) Cross of Greenfield, and Jodi (Mike) Hamad of Fort Worth, Texas; eight grandchildren, Honey Robinson, Jacob Richter, Lacie Ruddle, Autumn Fryer, Elizabeth Weinrich, Molli McKibben, Morgen McKibben, and Mariam Hamad; five step-grandchildren, Chris, Julie, Zach, Sara, and Logan; 10 great- and step-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Diana Merritt of Greenfield and Joy Smith of Leesburg; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Tammy; a grandson, Casey; and two sisters, Judith Frampton and Margaret Maag.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at Anderson-Strueve Funeral Home in Greenfield. The Rev. Timothy Mohon will officiate, and interment will follow in Cochran Cemetery in Fayette County. Friends may call at the funeral home 4-8 p.m. Tuesday.
