Jason Tyler McCoy, 21, of Hillsboro, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2017 at Miami Valley Hospital.

He was born on Aug. 17, 1995 in Hillsboro, the son of Jason and Katina McCoy.

Jason graduated from Whiteoak High School, was a certified welder and lived to fish and be outdoors. He loved to read his Bible and loved God.

Jason is survived by his father, Jason McCoy of Hillsboro; his mother, Katina (Aaron Farahay) McCoy of Hillsboro; seven siblings, Shaylyn McCoy, John D. McCoy, Kalissa McCoy, Jacob Beatty, Angelina Beatty, Jesse Beatty and Juliannah Beatty, all of Hillsboro; paternal grandparents, John (Sherry) McCoy of Hillsboro; maternal grandfather, Joseph Fantetti of Hillsboro; maternal grandmother, Cathy Moore of Hillsboro; two aunts, Shelly Bean of Indiana and Tanya (Brian) Birkhimer of Hillsboro; uncles, Joseph (Amy) Fantetti of Hamersville and Aaron (Taryn) Butsch of Tennessee; one nephew, Ashten Peyton; and his dog, Mystery.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, Feb. 18, 2017 at 3 p.m. at Turner & Son Funeral Home. Pastor Kim Zornes will officiate. Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until the time at service at 3 p.m. Turner & Son Funeral Home is serving the family.
