Every year, the Hillsboro FFA chapter holds their fruit sale. Members of the chapter are asked to sell fruit to help raise money for the chapter in order to cover expenses for the 2017-18 school year.

Members strive each year to sell as much fruit as they can in order to be one of the top fruit salesmen and to get recognized at the Hillsboro FFA banquet in April. Members from the chapter have visited multiple local businesses to sell fruit.

The Hillsboro FFA fruit sale consists of many items. Some of the items sold by the chapter are navel oranges, grapefruit, apples, apple cider, peanuts, BBQ sauce and many meat packages.

This year, the chapter raised $10,909.24 to cover expenses. The members enjoy the experience they get from selling to customers every year. The Hillsboro FFA Chapter appreciates the support from every customer that purchases fruit.
