The annual PFC Zachary R. Gullett Memorial Trust Dinner will be held this year on Saturday, May 20, from 4-7 p.m. at the VFW Post 9094, at 1000 W. Main St. in Hillsboro. This year, dinner includes two slices of pizza and a beverage for $6.

    The Fairfield Lions were ahead by four runs after the first four innings in the Southern Hills Athletic Conference game against the visiting Fayetteville Rockets. Though the Lions had a solid lead, the Rockets broke out the bats to gain timely hits and runs in the final three innings to rally past the Lions, 7-4.
