Having “a voting seat at the table” and additional money in the general fund were weighed against the impact of increased taxes to Hillsboro citizens as Hillsboro city council members, administrators and members of the community discussed a proposal to join the Paint Creek Joint EMS/Fire District.

    Hillsboro High School junior Kristin Jamieson has gone four-for-four with her goals as a member of the Lady Indians golf team this season. This weekend, Jamieson is preparing to reach another goal – improving on her score at the highest level of high school competition – as she competes in the OHSAA Division I Girls Golf State Tournament for a second consecutive year.

  • Fairfield Lions boys cross-country gains 7th consecutive SHAC championship

    Once again – for the seventh consecutive year – the Southern Hills Athletic Conference boys cross-country championship belongs to the Fairfield Lions, as they had a dominating performance in the 2017 version of the event at Ripley High School Saturday morning.
