To the editor:

Fethullah Gulen's Islamic movement receives a healthy stream of U.S. taxpayer funds via the charter school industry it operates in the U.S.

When members of Congress and state and local public officials travel to Turkey, courtesy of Gulen, public money is a part of the equation; hence, “junket” is the correct description of this trip.

Some state and local officials in Ohio have been treated to a Gulen trip to Turkey.

Two state legislators’ names appeared in this recent article: http://www.cincinnati.com/story/news/politics/2017/02/09/gulen-group-linked-to-turkey-coup-attempt-subsidized-ohio-lawmaker-trips/97691248/

The office of each responded with political correctness.
